Bitterness Washes Away

There are good days

There are good days
There are bad days too
but the good days are days that I want to cling to
“I told you weeks ago
This isn’t my first time losing an important organ to
someone set on the pursuit of mutual self-interest.”

There is just something inside of me that is cracked
and the transplant takes time and a delicate hand to replace.'”

It may be a time consuming thing but it will be worth it
when bitterness washes away into peace.
